UK Export Academy

The UK Export Academy (UKEA) from the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is a free training programme for UK businesses of all sizes looking to grow their international sales. By signing up to an account, businesses gain access to a vast range of virtual and in-person workshops held across the UK.

Aimed at new exporters and experienced exporters looking to broaden their knowledge, the UKEA is delivered in different stages depending on an exporter’s skill level.

Essentials – a beginner’s guide to exporting. Ideal for companies new to international trade. This series runs monthly and will introduce businesses to the basics and build their confidence, as well as their knowledge.

Masterclasses – these intermediate workshops are aimed at businesses who are ready for advanced topics such as website internaionalisation, eCommerce, sales skills, managing overseas partners and much more.

Markets & Sectors – working closely with DBT’s sector teams, these sector-specific workshops will give businesses relevant information about overseas networks and in-market opportunities, including the benefits of Free Trade Agreements.
