      A £35 million commercial property fund that supports developers in the North East.

      The North East Commercial Property Investment Fund is managed by FW Capital and backed by the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). The fund was launched to address a gap in the market and facilitate the delivery of new commercial property development projects that support employment creation and economic growth in the North East LEP area.

      What are the key features of the fund?

      • Loans from £1 million to £7 million
      • Loans are to fund development costs
      • No minimum size of development
      • Interest rates/fees agreed in advance
      • Interest roll up is available
      • Terms available up to 5 years

      Who can apply?    

      The fund is available to construction companies and property developers looking to build projects in the seven local authority areas of the North East:

      Northumberland, County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Sunderland.

      The fund can support:

      • New housing developments 
      • New office, industrial and warehouse developments
      • Refurbishment projects
      • Phased development schemes
      • Mixed use developments
