Growth Track is a support service for high-growth businesses looking to increase market share, develop a new product or service, or enhance customer experience.
If you’re thinking about growing your business, or think you need to review what you’ve already done, but want to talk it all through before you take the next step, this Growth Track package from TEDCO Business Support has been designed for you.
What is it?
A bespoke one-to-one session with expert business advisor Alan Dodsworth followed by bespoke sessions and/or workshops on your chosen area of focus.
Why might I need it?
When you started your business your plans were made, and the route was clear. But what happened after that? You may have encountered curve balls which knocked your well-laid plans sideways. Talking it through with a new face is sometimes all it takes to cast a new perspective on your way forward.
What does the package include?
Workshops and one-to-one support to help you grow your business, whether that is by:
- adding new products or services,
- increasing your market share by exploring new routes to market
- exploring what is the best growth strategy for your business
- enhancing your customer experience.

How to access this support
This special package is only available to trading businesses in Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside and Northumberland.
The number of sessions available is limited.
Complete an application form to apply and the team will review your application and let you know if it’s been successful in due course.
What happens after that?
You will find out if your application has been successful. If so, the team will introduce you to Alan Dodsworth and you’ll agree on a way forward from there. If you’re not successful on this occasion, you’ll be kept in mind for future cohorts.
Who is Alan Dodsworth?
Alan is a multi channel commercial operator with 20+ years senior leadership experience growing turnover and profitability across various routes to markets and channels.
Alan has had exposure to challenging trading environments including business expansion, acquisitions, transformation and turnaround, brand repositioning, and supporting new product launches and incremental revenue streams.
Exclusively for businesses based in North Tyneside, Newcastle upon Tyne or Northumberland, the programme is delivered by TEDCO Business Support Limited and it is funded by North of Tyne Combined Authority. The North of Tyne Combined Authority is a partnership of three local authorities: Newcastle City Council, North Tyneside Council, and Northumberland County Council and the North of Tyne Elected Mayor.
