Better Business Skills

The Better Business Skills programme is funded by North of Tyne Combined Authority and provides fully funded business skills sessions and mentoring for North of Tyne residents aged 19+.

The unique approach allows Learners to build their own programme of business skills sessions to boost their skills and knowledge and then access one to one mentoring with an expert Tutor to help them put it all into action 

About the programme

This fully funded offer includes: 

1. Business Skills Sessions delivered by Expert Tutors in half day online sessions - clients can build their own programme to suit their specific needs. See the website for the full list of the 18 topics currently available within these themes:

• Managing Change & Process Management 
• ToNetZero 
• Marketing  
• Sales, Service and the Customer Experience 
• Business Planning One to One Mentoring – Once the selected Business Skills Sessions have been completed Learners have the option of accessing up to 3 hours of Mentoring from their selected Expert Tutor to help them embed the skills and knowledge in their business or their role 

2. Learners will be supported by a Skills Adviser to build a tailored programme that suits their individual / business needs. 

More than one Learner from each business can attend.

Open to all individuals aged 19+ living who are residents in Northumberland, North Tyneside or Newcastle Upon Tyne.
