The scheme will pay 80% of eligible employees’ salary - up to £2500 a month. As part of the revised scheme, anyone made redundant after 23 September can be rehired and put back on furlough.

Businesses forced to close during the coronavirus pandemic will receive grants worth up to £3,000 per month - distributed via Local Authorities. An Additional Restrictions Grant is also available.

As part of its support package for businesses affected by COVID-19 restrictions, government has extended the application deadline for all government-backed loan schemes to the end of March 2021.
The third taxable grant - covering Nov '20-Jan '21 - is calculated at 80% of three months average monthly trading profits; capped at £7,500. A further grant will follow covering February to April '21.
Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, has increased the reach of government's winter support schemes to ensure livelihoods and jobs across the North East and the UK continue to be protected.
